Spider veins are harmless, but they are visible. Sclerotherapy closes them in a targeted way – session by session the leg becomes visually calmer.

Who it's for

For everyone with fine red or blue vessels on the thighs, behind the knees or on the lower legs.

How it works

  1. 1Examination of the veins. If there is any sign of a deeper underlying cause, we recommend a phlebological assessment; please bring any report you already have.
  2. 2Sclerotherapy: an agent is injected into the vessels with a very fine needle.
  3. 3Compression for a few days, a follow-up check and, if needed, a further session.

What happens next

Several sessions are usually needed. Slight redness and discolouration fade over the following weeks; avoid the sun during this time.
